About Me.

I am an experienced practitioner Psychologist with more than 18 years of experience. I believe in working collaboratively with my clients in community, private practice, educational, forensic, and corporate settings to navigate and manage challenges they encounter in their mental and emotional health. I received my Masters degree from University College London (UCL) in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology, and my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the National University of Singapore (NUS).

I have a special interest in children, teens, adults and families struggling with social, emotional or behavioural challenges. I strongly believe that by creating a safe, open and trusting space, it is possible to explore the impact of long-held beliefs, unearth unconscious and potentially destructive drives, and connect with ourselves and others in a more fulfilling, healthier manner.

Prior to joining the private sector, I was a Senior Psychologist at the Ministry of Social and Family Development where I headed a unit that provided assessment and therapy for families with juvenile justice involvement and child protection/welfare concerns. I was also Deputy Head CARE of the Ministry, and oversaw operational deployment, training of new officers, and provision of crisis support to Singapore citizens and their next-of-kin involved in critical incidents locally and abroad.

A sought-after consultant to senior management and human resource professionals on crisis management, organisational development and enhancing employee wellbeing, I’ve partnered with over 200 MNCs, public-listed companies, institutions of higher learning and government bodies in developing and delivering customised, targeted professional development and personal growth workshops, and provided individual and family psychotherapy to over 130,000 staff and their dependents.
