About Me.

I hold a Master’s degree in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology (University College London) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (National University of Singapore). My training is grounded in developmental science, clinical assessment, and evidence-based psychotherapy across adolescence and adulthood.

Prior to private practice, I served as a Senior Psychologist at the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), Singapore, where I headed a specialised unit providing psychological assessment and therapy for families with juvenile justice involvement and child protection or welfare concerns.

This role involved working with complex, high-risk, and multi-system cases — supporting youths, parents, and families navigating legal, developmental, relational, and emotional challenges. It required not only clinical depth, but also the ability to balance care with structure, clarity, and inter-agency collaboration.

In addition, I was appointed Deputy Head CARE at the Ministry, where I oversaw operational deployment, training of new officers, and crisis response support for Singapore citizens and their next-of-kin involved in critical incidents locally and abroad. This work included managing psychologically sensitive situations requiring calm leadership, trauma-informed support, and coordinated response under pressure.

Beyond public service, I have been a sought-after consultant to senior management and HR leaders on:

  • Crisis management and psychological response

  • Organisational development

  • Leadership resilience

  • Employee wellbeing and mental health

Over the course of my career, I have partnered with more than 200 multinational corporations, public-listed companies, institutions of higher learning, and government bodies, developing and delivering customised professional development and personal growth programmes.

Through these roles, I have provided psychotherapy and psychological support to over 130,000 employees and their dependents, spanning diverse life stages and cultural backgrounds.

Background & Clinical Training

This breadth of experience means I bring to private practice:

  • Depth in working with complex family systems and adolescent development

  • Confidence in supporting individuals through crisis, trauma, and high-stakes transitions

  • Insight into workplace stress, burnout, and leadership pressures

  • A grounded understanding of both clinical mood disorders and everyday emotional struggles.

Whether you are a teen navigating identity challenges, an adult facing burnout or low mood, or a parent concerned about your child, my approach is informed by both frontline clinical experience and systems-level understanding.

Therapy with me is thoughtful, structured, and collaborative — grounded in evidence, but always human.
